The sponsor of this love action is Zheng Yu, the "most beautiful volunteer" who has just been selected into the list of "four 100" advanced models of national Lei Feng volunteer service in Shanghai.
At noon on December 27, a white car stopped at the entrance of Tangchenzhenyuan Community, Lane 566, Zefeng Road, Fengxian District, Shanghai. A sign on the car said "Take out, Brother Warm Heart Posthouse". Occasionally, a passing rider stopped to watch, and two people in green vests were busy.
"You have to contact a lot of people every day, but you still need to wear this N95 mask. If you need it every day, you can come here to pick it up at night. We are here from 6:00 to 8:00 in the evening." The two people who stopped my brother to deliver goods are Zheng Yu and volunteer Zhang Yushi.
Over the past decade, Zheng Yu's "Light Gathering" New Era Civilized Practice Volunteer Service Team has been participating in social public welfare activities. After observing that the workload of takeout riders has increased recently, and most of them are still using ordinary masks, they launched this "you deliver food, I deliver warmth" activity. Volunteers mobilized all forces around them and social caring enterprises to specially prepare N95 masks, antigens, wet paper towels, warm babies, warm ginger water and other love materials for free to pass riders, and the plan lasted until the New Year's Eve on January 20.
"Now, when walking on the road at night, eight or nine of the 10 people are takeout boys. I feel that they are very hard, because it is so cold now, and the epidemic is very serious, but they still go to the front line." Zheng Yu said that he thought that such a point was needed to give them a little warmth. As an attempt, Zheng Yu chose the gate that he was most familiar with. "I think this location is very good, it will not affect the normal traffic, and it is also convenient for the delivery boy to pick up materials."
In fact, Zheng Yu started to test the water at the weekend. The plan is to carry out activities during the peak meal delivery period from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. every day. "On the first day, many takeout boys didn't really believe it, including some who came to see it and then left, although we also kept explaining to them that we were a volunteer service and didn't charge anything." On the first day, they gave away 33 antigens in total, and the next day, they extended it to 9 p.m. to close the stall, giving away 50 in total.
Therefore, they temporarily increased the opening hours on the morning of the third day, hoping that more people would know. Sincerity always moves people. The efforts of several days in a row have also made the little brothers see. Some riders have already publicized this love point in the group. "When I came to deliver the bill last night, I saw that there were a lot of things here. There were antigens in it. Sometimes it was reassuring to do something and warm the baby, which gave our riders a warm feeling." The takeout rider who visited the store for the second time said that he had shot the video yesterday and planned to put it on the short video platform to let more riders know about it and share the warm act with more people.
